Acceptable use policy
Last updated 28 October 2026
Sites on HostAi share one platform, so one bad site can hurt everyone. You may not use HostAi to host or link to:
- Phishing or impersonation: pages that pretend to be a bank, payment service, brand, government body or another person, or that collect passwords, card numbers or crypto wallet recovery phrases under false pretences.
- Malware: viruses, cryptominers, exploit kits, or links that download them.
- Scams and fraud: fake shops, investment or crypto schemes, fake prizes, or anything designed to trick people out of money or information.
- Illegal content: anything illegal where you or your visitors are, including child sexual abuse material (which we report to the authorities), and content that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark.
- Harm to others: harassment, threats, doxxing, content that promotes violence or terrorism, or sharing someone's private information without consent.
- Spam: pages made to be advertised by unsolicited email or messages, or doorway and link-farm pages.
- Abuse of the platform: trying to break into our systems or other users' sites, getting around plan limits, using sites as file-sharing or download mirrors, or creating many free accounts.
How we enforce it
Every upload is scanned automatically. Uploads that look suspicious are held for a person to review before they can go live. If a live site breaks this policy we may suspend it straight away, and repeated or serious breaches close the account.
